For four weeks, yoga becomes part of the rhythm of your everyday life.
Our 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training runs February 23–March 23, 2027, on Gili Air, Indonesia and is designed for teachers who have already completed a 200-hour training and are ready to deepen their knowledge, refine their teaching, and expand their personal practice.
As a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS 300), Ma’at Yoga Academy’s advanced training provides the additional 300 hours of education required for eligible graduates to pursue the RYT 500 designation when combined with a qualifying 200-hour training.
Your days will move between morning practice, advanced asana study, anatomy and physiology, yoga philosophy, pranayama, meditation, subtle body practices, teaching methodology, practicum, workshops, discussion, self-inquiry, and experiential learning.
With a maximum of 12 students, you’ll receive personal mentorship from three experienced teachers while learning within a close and supportive group. At the 300-hour level, the emphasis moves beyond learning the foundations into integration, refinement, critical thinking, and developing greater depth and confidence in your own voice as a teacher.
The small-group format creates space for questions, individual feedback, meaningful discussion, teaching practice, and mentorship throughout the month. You’ll have the opportunity to examine what you already know, challenge assumptions, explore the teachings more deeply, and strengthen your ability to translate knowledge into intelligent, authentic teaching.
There is also space to rest, enjoy the island, share meals, swim, explore, and simply be. One full day off each week gives you time to integrate what you’re learning and experience Gili Air at your own pace.
More than accumulating another 300 hours, this training is an opportunity to live the practice—to deepen your relationship with yoga, expand your capacity as a teacher, and spend a month immersed in study, practice, community, and mentorship.
Beyond the Classroom
The experience extends beyond the hours we spend together in the yoga shala.
Throughout the training, we’ll create opportunities to experience Gili Air together, connect as a community, and give your body and mind space to rest and integrate the depth of the work.
Your training experience includes:
There will also be plenty of space to enjoy the island independently—whether that means swimming, cycling, exploring nearby beaches, visiting cafés, diving, taking a day trip, or simply resting between training days.
These experiences are intentionally woven into the month to create a balance between focused study, personal integration, community, and island life.
During your stay you may enjoy:
• Sunrise and sunset beach walks
• Healthy cafés and fresh Indonesian cuisine
• Crystal-clear water, beaches, and coral reefs
• Snorkeling and world-class scuba diving
• Island hopping throughout the Gili Islands
• Waterfalls and day trips on nearby Lombok
• Traditional Indonesian massage and spa treatments
• Exploring Gili Air by bicycle
• Local markets, cafés, restaurants, and live music
• Connection with both local Indonesian culture and Gili Air’s international community
Our Local Knowledge
Our teaching team lives and teaches on Gili Air and has developed trusted relationships with local businesses, accommodation providers, wellness practitioners, restaurants, and transportation services.
We’re here to help make the logistics of spending a month in Indonesia as simple as possible. From planning your arrival and choosing accommodation to finding your favorite café, massage therapist, dive school, or quiet beach, we’re happy to share our local knowledge throughout your stay.
The intention is for you to have everything you need to focus on what brought you here: advanced study, dedicated practice, meaningful connection, and becoming a more knowledgeable, embodied, and confident yoga teacher..

We will arrange your transportation from the Bali airport to the harbor and your fast-boat transfer to Gili Air as part of your training package. Once your travel plans are confirmed, we’ll coordinate the details with you so you know exactly where to meet your driver, which boat you’ll take, and when you’ll arrive on the island.
Because boat schedules are daytime-dependent and can be affected by sea conditions, we recommend arriving in Bali at least two days before the training begins as its likely you might have to stay the first night in Bali depending on arrival time, as fast boats to Gili Air generally run in the mornings to mid day.Students are responsible for arranging their own travel to Gili Air, Indonesia.
Detailed arrival instructions, recommended transportation routes, visa information, packing recommendations, and accommodation options will be provided following enrollment.

Ma'at is the ancient Egyptian principle of truth, balance, harmony, and living in alignment with the natural order of life. It reminds us that wisdom is not something we acquire—it is something we uncover through awareness, experience, and the willingness to observe ourselves honestly.
At Ma'at Yoga Academy, becoming a teacher is about more than learning postures or memorizing techniques. It is about developing the presence, discernment, and confidence to teach from lived experience while inspiring others to discover their own inner wisdom.
Our teacher trainings combine traditional yogic teachings with modern education, creating a comprehensive and immersive learning experience that prepares students not only to teach yoga, but to embody its principles in everyday life.
